The mission of Easter Seals Hawai’i is to provide exceptional services to ensure that all people with disabilities or special needs and their families have equal opportunities to live, learn, work and play in their communities. Easter Seals Hawai’i is the state’s largest provider of services for infants, children and adults with developmental disabilities. We provide social and recreational programs for youth with developmental disabilities statewide. Services offered include: Early Intervention, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Home and Community-Based Services, and Camping & Recreation, Youth Services, Assistive Technology, Family Support Services, and Partnerships in Community Living (PICL). We strive to enhance the quality of the lives of our participants by developing quality programs and services, delivered with dignity, enabling them to gain greater independence. In order to achieve this, we believe it involves whole individuals, whole families and support systems. Parents and caregivers receive support and training, and are a vital part of the “team” working to ensure the goal of independence is achieved.
