Armstrong: Robert Armstrong, head of the Armstrong Companies, has been a builder and developer in Hawaii for 28 years. He comes from a family of builders who have constructed roads, bridges, and homes, and he began his career working for his father who developed homes in Virginia. He thereafter worked for a variety of builders primarily constructing single-family and multi-family subdivisions. Since starting in Hawaii in 1976, Mr. Armstrong has earned the reputation for being one of the finest builder/developers in Hawaii. In addition to countless design-build single-family homes, he has built many of the elegant custom homes along Kahala Avenue and Diamond Head.
