From the store front prayer meeting of foreign laborers to the multicultural families of modern Oahu, for over 120 years people have gathered with this community. Founded as a place for people from “someplace else”, our faith community gathers families and people from across the life of the island—Hawaii Kai to Kapolei, Haleiwa to Kailua, mechanics to professors, doctors to stay-at-home moms, retirees to college students, babies to grandparents. We strive to not only deepen ourselves in Gods love, but to carry out Gods love. Through our efforts and partnerships, we hope to bring transformation to our communities and the world. Amid this cosmopolitan center of people from so many other places, we strive to extend a semblance of the welcome, hospitality, and love Jesus offered to people on the physical and spiritual edges of the community. The people of St. Peter’s represent generations who have worked to improve our community and gather God’s people together in a refreshing community of love and joy.
