The Film and Video Association of Hawaii (FAVAH) is a not-for-profit professional organization dedicated to the advancement of the motion picture, video and allied production industries. A strong voice and advocate for the industry since 1989, FAVAHs triple mission is to provide support, education, and outreach for the industry. FAVAH is a volunteer organization that exists for its members and by their efforts. There is an individual membership and a Corporate membership. Further opportunities for member involvement include sponsorships, serving on committees and serving on FAVAHs Board of Directors. Participating in FAVAHs committees is an ideal way to meet and work together with fellow professionals. By volunteering for such programs and activities you shape the organization and help to improve the standing and solidarity of your peers in film, video, multimedia and allied industries. Your ideas and creative energy can make a significant contribution. The Board of Directors is an elected body of FAVAH members who provide vision and support. All FAVAH members are automatically subscribed to the FAVAH List-Serve, which enables members to keep abreast of the industry both locally and nationally. The List-Serve is a source of breaking news, job opportunities, and information on FAVAH meetings, workshops and other activities.
