Professional Adoption and Community Services Inc. is a nonprofit community organization founded in October of 2001. While a relatively new service, it is an agency with experience. The founders worked with Harry Holt and orphans in Korea in the late 1950s and went on to become adoptive parents and have practiced in the field of adoptions and health care ever since. Monroe Woollard M.S.W. is a licensed social worker who has made over four thousand child placements. He has founded three adoption agencies, worked overseas from China to Russia, and counseled hundreds of birth parents. Fran Woollard F.N.P. is a family nurse practitioner who has founded a home health care agency, has been Director of Nursing for Hospice care, and worked with orphans in Africa. Each Director is uniquely interested in adoptions and has an extensive history of service.
