CalendarMauis mission is to provide an online gathering place where people can learn about the various events planned for the Islands of Maui, Molokai, & Lanai. In planning for a major event to be held next year, we looked for a community-wide calendar that would provide us with information on events scheduled on a specific date. Nevertheless, to our amazement, there was no such community-wide calendar established. Having spoken to many individuals in our community, we realized the need for such a community-wide calendar to publicize the events occurring in Maui County. Although local newspapers have a calendar of events, the publications provide only event information for that one week only. There are other community internet calendars we have seen; however, they are not as comprehensive as we would like. Due to the demand for a comprehensive community calendar, we decided to establish “CALENDARMAUI” which we hope to be very reliable for Maui County residents and tourists.
