There are a number of hiking companies on the island. Hawaiian Hiking Co. is an affordable, full service tour operation. We provide transportation, lunch, including a variety of fresh seasonal fruits, and all hiking gear. The rainforest waterfall hikes have many stream crossings. Hawaiian Hiking Co. provides tabis, a special fiber-sole shoe designed for traction in the water. All guides are Hawaii State Certified , holding degrees in ornithology, biology, geology and Hawaiian history. This is what separates us, from the inexpensive to the very expensive hiking companies.
